Secord Township Meeting
August 12, 2020 10:00AM Meeting called to order by Supervisor Colin Combs with all standing to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call Colin Combs Kathy Wilton Linda Ronne Bill Bowman Martin Comes All Present Public Comment: None New Business: Kathy Wilton announced her resignation Motion to accept Kathy Wilton resignation by Colin Combs Second by Marty Holmes Roll Call Colin Combs Kathy Wilton Linda Ronne Bill Bowman Martin Holmes Motion Carried Discussion: Weeds PML will not be spraying at this time. The bottom land is owned by Mueller. Permission will be needed to spray the bottom land which has been exposed due to the draw down. Questions: Will everything be sprayed at what cost? Will it interfere with erosion? Is DEQ going to issue a permit? Can this be done with our weed assessment? Checking with Attorney. Supervisor will address this at Township Meeting August 19, 2020. Bill Bowman questioned if the fire department will use a Drone for Surveillance. Will be discussed at the Planning Meeting.
